This boat has been very well looked after. Every winter for the last 6 years it’s been taken out of the water and stored in a dry barn. Full servicing then carried out by a professional Outboard engineer (Mike the Outboard – Essex) with any issues fixed. She had a fresh covering of anti-fouling last year, this is wearing away so would need to be done again at the end of this season. The hydraulic tilt and trim system was rebuilt by Gillingham Chandlery last season. Works perfectly, This has been a great hobby for my family, they are now finding their own interests, so I am selling as it’s not getting the use it deserves. First off, safety is paramount. My family comes first so I have almost every item you need to be as secure and safe as possible when going out on the water. If you are looking to buy this for your kids, then i would be happy to pass it on as i take safety very seriously. The kids all have their Powerboat Level 2 or advance, so it’s been a great learning tool and weekend/holiday activity. I have bought and installed (transducer at the back) a Garmin 557xs. These are a fantastic bit of kit and over 700 quid on its own. Also has the Blue Chart g2 Vision update. Everything you see in the pictures and description comes with it. I would never put my kids at risk, hence the sheer number of gadgets and precautions I have installed/purchased. Any trip is done with a huge amount of confidence that nothing will go amiss. The boat itself has no leaks, holes, major damage etc. It has a new marine carpet, new fixed chairs (driver and passenger) with a removable backseat (pictured). Wiring checked and double checked as well as a new Teleflex No Feedback steering system. These are fantastic and gives you ultimate control with added safety. The Suzuki DT140 EFI outboard is electric tilt and trim with no issues or warnings and runs perfectly with a raced modification by the Outboard Specialist (The cowling has been resprayed so no stickers). This means the water intake relies on the lower of the intake ports, so you have less motor in the water, so less drag. It performs meticulously and can be seen running in a tank (I shall add a link to a video as well as compression figures for the 4 cylinders shortly, i am waiting for a new pressure gauge to arrive) When fishing on my own or with a couple friends i remove the seats so there is more room. There are 2 rod holders (1 each side) for added convenience. This boat can cruise all day long at 30 knots and i have taken her up-to 44 knots when flat conditions have allowed. She is kept in Gillingham Marina during the summer (locked basin) so has never sat on the mud as per tidal moorings. Constantly flushed with clean water and SaltAway over the winter period keeps her running smoothly along with the services. The trailer was completely refurbished at the end of the 2016 season. It is a braked trailer, these all work, with security locks and new wheels (see photos). I have taken this to Devon (last year) and had no issues at all, as you would expect. The only item that does not work is the tilt and trim gauge. It does work but only when a tilt and trim arm is fitted. I do have a new spare arm but have already gone through 3 of these (they are not cheap) and each one has broken off. So i have left this one for the next person as i must be fitting them incorrectly. Listed below are ALL the items you get with the boat, if a miss anything then the pictures will show them for me. I have additional photos if you need any more detail. Fletcher Speedboat – (Type 17 1901-9 84 ??) from the manufacturers tag (see pictures) Suzuki DT140 EFI – Fully serviced and running, electric tilt and trim (remote and engine) Removable Garmin 557xs GPS/Sonar (https://buy.garmin.com/en-GB/GB/p/119853) Icom IC-M323 radio. AIS receiver – from the aerial this shows other boats and identification feeding the information to the Garmin. You can set-up things like collisions alerts. Large aerial Driver and passenger swivel seats, foldable. Teleflex steering. No Feed Back, meaning if the prop hits something no motion is transferred to the driver. Like power steering for your boat, so much safer than conventional steering. Fitted at the end of 2016 season. 2x 125AH deep cycle batteries rigged to a Smart Auto charging relay. This charges the starter battery first then switches to the backup when finished. Never have a worry losing charge when out for a full day Battery Isolator switch – 3 positions – Off, Main, Main + Backup. 2x rigid plastic fuel tanks (front and back) – Total of approx 105 litres (45 litres in the rear). Use the rear and if it runs out you switch to the front tank, knowing you will have enough (and more) to get back home. Fuel Isolator tap – 2 positions – Off, Front, Back tank. Additional fuel filters attached to hoses Custom cover – this fits over the whole cabin and onto the transom and front windows beautifully but has shown signs of wear (3 years old) However it does the job just fine when the rain hits and you are in the middle of the Medway/Thames estuary.Radar Reflector – rear mounted.
