I have spent the last 2 years repairing and upgrading this 1989 Bayliner 2455 Sierra Sunbridge but as I am now retired I have decided to spend next Summer on the water rather than in the boatyard. I am therefore buying another boat and the Bayliner and trailer are offered for sale by auction. There is no reserve or buy it now price. Summary: New rubber backed carpets throughout, including the cockpit.New stereo radio/CD player with twin speakers. The original fridge has been removed and the space converted to a storage cupboard. The alcohol hob has been retained and works satisfactorily. The tap for the sink may need a new float pump. The water tank is a little old and probably only suitable for use as washing water. The Brydon toilet has been serviced and the macerator works satisfactorily. The manual Whale pump in the head works but is a little stiff.New 12v lights in the cabin. The boat is also wired for 240 volts and there are several sockets in the cabin. There are a full set of foam cushions but they need to be re-upholstered. I have included 11 linear metres of velvet as shown in the photos.2 fire extinguishers (one of which out of date)New pvc covered bench seat.New stainless steel horn.New stainless steel navigation light.New tinted acrylic side windows. The depth sounder and all the Bayliner instruments work satisfactorily although the bilge pump will need attention.9kg galvanized plough anchor with about 2 metres of chain and 30 metres of rope. Spare Danfoth anchor with chain and rope.Full set of fenders in serviceable condition and sundry mooring lines.Fitted VHF aerialThe canopy has been overhauled with a new front windscreen and completely re-stitched. New 115 ah deep cycle leisure battery fitted in 2012 and a new 125 ah cranking battery in 2013. Fitted isolator switch. The galvanized braked trailer was made by Peak Trailers Ltd and has twin axles. There is some superficial rust but nothing serious. The tyres have plenty of tread and have not deflated during the last 2 years. The buyer will need to check the bearings as it was last on the road 2 years ago.The engine has been started up several times this year but not for more than a few minutes at a time. A new water pump has been fitted this year by a marine engineer but the outdrive needs a new gasket and possible further servicing. The power trim and tilt have also been completely overhauled by a marine engineer. The hull is in sound condition with no damage. It has been given 3 coats of paint and rubbed back ready for a final spray coat. The boat can be inspected by prior arrangement in Totnes, Devon.
