Bayliner Classic Speedboat with Force / Mariner 70hp Outboard and Trailer Here is my 1993 Bayliner Classic all cleaned, antifouled and serviced ready to go. HULL In good condition and is water tight, has been antifouled as she was on a swing mooring. The floor has been relaid (known Bayliner fault), the carpet and seats are not bad considering the’re now 20 years old, front cushions could do with a retrim but apart from that quite presentable. It comes with the pull over cuddy and also the ski-pole (worth £200) i’ll leave the anchor and mooring ropes as well. The Garmin transducer and wiring will also be left onboard. ENGINE Force / Mariner 70hp with power Tilt & Trim, those who know these Force engines love them to bits made by Mariner initialy for the US Navy – they are reliable and robust. This has been recommissioned and serviced professionally and performs well, pumps water strongly and comes with two 25l fuel tanks, it has a twin battery set up with a switch over that means you’ll never worry about a flat battery out at sea. With a light load the engine will pull the boat along at a steady 35-40 knotts. TRAILER Had the trailer looked over at the start of the season and it had new wheel bearings tyres and winch strap fitted, I’ve painted some of the rusty bits with zink paint. It’s a solid trailer and will tow well. The winch post could do with moving back a few inches to make it a bit lighter on the front but it’s not worried me just thought I’d mention it. To sum up…….. A great, fast, safe speedboat that is all ready to go. Looks good and easy to store and tow, but sturdy and large enough to get a way out to sea, a great first boat for messing around, skiing, pulling toys or fishing from. Any questions please just ask away.
