This Broom 30 foot was manufactured in Brundle, Norfolk in 1973. This lovely SIX BERTH example has been cherished by the same family for 39 years having spent that time cruising much of the Thames. The previous owner kept her from new on the Norfolk Broads. The Classic Broom 30 was designed as a river and coastal waters cruiser to which she is well suited. The well designed accommodation makes her an excellent bachelor/bachelorette “live-aboard” with cabins fore and aft separated by the main saloon and galley. So complete privacy fore and aft is assured. The Forward Cabin has 2 single bunks with the ability to bridge-the-gap and make a very large double bed. The cabin has its own wash basin and toilet with single wardrobe and dressing shelf. The Aft Cabin has 2 single bunks and a very attractive dressing table unit with mirror and a single wardrobe. This cabin has its own adjacent toilet, washbasin and shower. The Centre Cabin/Main Saloon has an L-shaped seating unit (pulls out to make a further double bed) opposite which is an attractive sideboard with cupboards and a wine rack (very important !!) In the ceiling is a full size slide-back Webasto Sunroof. A step down and heading aft from the main saloon is the galley with gas/electric fridge and a two burner gas hob and oven unit. Good sized sink and drainer, above which is a wall mounted on-demand gas water heater. Cruising control is from a fully instrumented Centre Console in the Main Saloon or from a fully instrumented Flybridge. The Top Deck (Flybridge) has 2 swivel Captains Chairs with plenty of space aft on the top deck for 4 folding chairs. So top deck can accommodate six adults to enjoy those sunny cruising days.
