Broom Aquarius speed boat (called Triggers) Relisted due to an absolute time waster who said he could not afford it 30 seconds before auction end. Only bid if you have funds and a means of collecting. I have had this boat for a good few years and at the time of buying it was my dream boat. I spent a good long time searching for the right Aquarius that had not been molested, got at, modified, or painted and that was totally original. after a long search and a few wasted journeys I found Triggers. I then spent a few more years getting her to what you see now. I am now loosing my storage so it is with great regret that I have to offer her for sale before I got to use her. (this summer was going to be my first trip) She is absolutely original and has never been painted, the gelcoat has a lovely metallic flicker in the sunlight, which unfortunately does not show in the photos. she is an absolute beauty. The interior is all original and in good condition, save for a couple of stitch lines on the front seats but that said totally useable as is. The gauges could do with wiring in, she comes fitted with controls and the gauges in the dash. the carpet is in good condition but could probably do with a clean (if I was being picky). There is also a cockpit cover that is shown in the pictures. The hull is in all original gelcoat and has never been painted, and looks fantastic. There is a boarding ladder to the rear and an arch with a skier tow point on it. There is also navigation lights all round. the wood strips that you can see in the photos all had a re-varnish last year and also look great. I have just machine polished the top side with high grade 3m polish that should last a few seasons. The outboard is a 140hp Evinrude that I have had running in the test tank before fitting to the boat. it cooled and went in and out of gear very well. There is Laser stainless prop fitted for extra nutterness on the water. This will be an absolute weapon on the water and certainly will not be for the faint of heart. The outboard does require connecting up before use and will also require a new trim and tilt switch (about £15 on here). whilst moving it this week I caught an HT lead so I bought a whole new set and fitted them. The Snipe trailer is in great shape and I would have no hesitation in towing it anywhere. I will be extremely sad to let this boat go. So to summarise;A lovely boat that will require no more than a few hours to sort out and get on the water with a lovely snipe trailer. Please bid to buy and of course a socially distanced collection will be observed. I will also need collection within 2 weeks as I loose my storage shortly after that. Many thanks for looking and I hope that someone gets the pleasure out of her that I so dearly wanted.
