The 245 boasts a sporty white and blue profile and has a sweeping windshield made of tempered safety glass. Control of the boat is easy from the well-designed helm station which gives a full all round view. Cockpit gauges are at eye level to minimize the need to take your eyes off the water. A table can be positioned aft or in the cabin so that the family can comfortably gather around for meals. Swap for a filler cushions at night to create a two-person V-berth. The easily accessible mid-berth offers sleeping quarters for two additional people. The adjustable portside backrest with nearby cup holders can be tilted forward or aft or even converted into a sun bed. The cabin provides plenty of storage for dinnerware and food. Facilities here include a fridge freezer, a alcohol / electric cooking ring, a microwave and 2 x 240 volt power points. The 5.0ltr 220 hp Mercruiser engine with Alpha 1 stern drive has very low hrs. Also fitted are Custom-Molded Dash Panels with non-glare, Electric/Hydraulic Trim Tabs, Power-Assisted Rack & Pinion Steering, Side-Mounted Engine Controls with trim & tilt switch in handle and Tilt steering. Also included in no specific order are a swim platform with a retractable 3 step ladder and handrails, a FM AM CD stereo system, Navigation Lights, Danforth Compass, Garmin Map 551s, Navman 7100 VHF/DAC Radio, Faria gauges, 1x Bruce anchor with 6m chain & 30m rope, an anchor line locker and anchor roller, Cockpit canopy about 3 years old, Bimini cover, Mooring lines, Fenders, Guard rail, Cockpit shower, a standard head facility, moulded steps with access to the foredeck, Carbon monoxide detector, Fire extinguishers, 3 tanks in the engine bay for fuel, water and waste, 2 electric bilge pumps etc etc. A 240volt ground shore supply can be connected and the 2 x 12volt batteries are just over a year old. For sale is our lovely Mariah 280z. She is our first proper boat since the children have been older and we’ve enjoyed her so much we are looking to upsize this spring. we had never head of a Mariah but looking around 3 years ago she was by far the best value for money and as the previous owner had fully refitted her, she was as low maintenance as you can get. The previous owner had all the seats re covered (inside and out), a new cover, new teak decking and a new Volvo Penta inboard (currently around 110 hours). If your looking for a cheap ‘in’ to boating then this is the one for you. we keep her on Weymouth marina with the beach, bars, etc even a cinema 100 meters away. The boat is very seaworthy. we have never had any problems with the engine and she starts every time. She is due a lift out and anti foul, service and new anodes but if this is done before April as a berth holder, there are great deals to have this done at Portland marina. Key features: 4 berth sleeping via made up double and main seat which convert to doublelovely cockpit seating layout with 2 seta helm, 3 seat sun bed & rear round seating which converts to sun bedseparate shower, WC & basin hot and cold water and rear transom shower with hot & coldsmall kitchen with microwave, electric hob & sinkbrand new £ 500 fridge (needs fitting in – not had time)replaced Volvo Penta 5.7 litre inboardelectric windlassrear diving laddernew VHFall lines, fenders etc toaster & kettlepumps, flag & poleflare packMarina until spring If she sells for over £ 20,000 i’ll leave a stack of newish life jackets, a LED TV, a new 4hp mercury outboard and 2 year old tender, hand held VHF All in all, shes a lot of fun and a lot of boat for the money. Buyer to collect from Weymouth, Dorset and marina paid until April when she will need to be removed or the next fee’s paid. Winning bid to pay £ 500 security on close of auction and remainder by cleared funds / cash on collection please. If you send me your email i’ll forward an attachment with more photos. Any questions please call Nick on 07779 712487
