Boat Aquafibre 37 Norfolk Broads (similar To Broom Ocean 37)

| Broom Boats | October 8, 2017

Current Price – ?31950.00
More Info

Aquafibre 37 – Tightlines We have owned this vessel for the last 7 years and feel the time has now come to find her a new owner. She has been updated and thoroughly maintained whilst in our care and is currently moored on what has to be one of the most reasonably priced moorings on the Southern Norfolk Broads. The mooring is in a very pleasant location near all local facilities. The new owner has the option of keeping her on this mooring by discussion with the boatyard owner. The boatyard also has a travel lift and hard standing facilities at very reasonable rates for annual berth holders. Main features of the boat: 37ft by 12ft 50hp Nanni Diesel (engine fitted approx. 2006) (Airdraft 8ft 6ins screens & canopy folded) 8 Berth (max) more comfortable as a 4-6 berth Bow cabin which can be 2 singles or 1 large double. Wardrobe with hanging rail and shelves. Toilet to holding tank with sink & shower. Bulkhead mounted 12v TV/DVD Open plan saloon galley, saloon can also be a double berth. Ample drawers and storage. Bulkhead mounted 12v TV/DVD Galley with mixer tap sink and drainer, 24v fridge and modern gas oven. Single cabin to port mainly used as storage for coats shoes etc (the foam mattress for the single berth is not pictured but is included) Aft cabin consisting of 1 single and 1 Double with wardrobe drawers and storage. Toilet to holding tank with sink & shower. Bulkhead mounted 12v TV/DVD. Both toilets are fitted to a fresh water fill system and then a manual pump to flush. The aft cabin toilet was new this season. Hot water via a large calorifier also fitted with 240v immersion heater. Mattress foams and upholstery replaced during our ownership (apart from infills) Large stainless steel diesel, water and holding tanks Electrical/Mechanical: 12v & 24v systems240v shorepower with seperate panelVictron 12v 30amp battery chargerVictron 24v 8amp battery charger (for fridge and webasto)Nasa 24v Battery MonitorSmall Sterling Inverter with remote panel and changeover switch connected to ring main for phone charging etc24v Webasto 5kw warm air heating24v Isotherm FridgeBowthrusterRearview CameraNav LightsLed courtesy lighting to cockpit and sternPower Mudweight WinchWiper motor to both helms.Bluetooth Radio/CD player TV Aerial with 12v booster with pole and fitted mountsNasa Speed/Depth Log (upper helm only) Upper Helm Instrument panel & WiperSwivel helm chairBench seating with dry storage underneathFolding windshields and canopy During our ownership the boat has been maintained to a very good standard with invoices/receipts for parts/work kept to view. The boat was last out of the water and antifouled in 2015. The shaft was repacked, a new rudder anode fitted and the impeller replaced. The heat exchanger has also been removed proffesionally repaired and cleaned this year. The engine and gearbox oil has also been changed this year and all filters/belts replaced, this has been done every year whilst in our care. Being an ex hire boat of quite large proportions there is the odd blemish or scar on the hull/topsides that it may have picked up along the way but overall it is still in a very tidy condition for its age. A good topside wash always brings her up looking lovely! She is an exceptionally easy to handle boat and very economical on fuel for her size. The upper steering position provides excellent visibility for manoeuvring and when underway. We do have lots of recent photos of her out of the water which can be available to view. There is obviously osmosis present as is to be expected with a vessel of this age but its nothing you will ever need to worry about……ever! A lift out for inspections can be arranged onsite at buyers cost. The boat has a Broads Authority Toll till the end March 2018. A lot can be said for low airdraft boats on the Broads but being able to see over the reeds is something else. She will even go under Ludham Bridge at the right state of tide. There may be items in the pictures that are not included in the sale but this can be discussed during any negotiation. If you have any questions or to arrange a viewing please feel free to contact me. The price is ONO but please be aware silly offers may cause offence!!!!!!

Classic 70’s Boat – Broom Scorpio – Winter Restoration Project

| Broom Boats | September 24, 2017

Current Price – ?1000.00
More Info

This Broom Scorpio is a classic boat from the 1970’s. We bought it as a project, stripped it back and painted it but never finished it as life (children!!) got in the way! The shape of the hull is absolutely stunning and has already been repaired, painted and antifouled, with holly and teak marine laminate over the bow. Note, some of the white paint might need touching up for a perfect finish (some glue residue in a couple of spots) It still has its original seats but the rest of the interior has been stripped out as it was rotten. We have had marine plywood panels cut to size and these just need to be covered with vinyl and fixed back in to place to finish the interior. The electrics all need to be put in. We bought a beautiful chrome steering wheel and horn which you are welcome to view and buy separately. We never got round to fitting them. We have the roof and the runners that this sits on. Again, just need to be fitted and you may want to re-paint the roof as the paint has blistered. We had new acrylic windows cut and have the rubber seal ready to fit. The windscreen has cracked and might want to be replaced. The stern has been reinforced with aluminium so that you can fit a large outboard on the back. We purchased it with a 30HP outboard but sold that as it was way overpowered for the river! Note – this boat does not come with an engine! This is the perfect winter project, not too much work to be done to get it ready for the next season.

Original 1970’s Broom Powerboat

| Broom Boats | September 21, 2017

Current Price – ?50.00
More Info

I purchased this about a year ago with the intention of getting it on the water, but I have too many other projects so I need to move this on. The boat has been professionally resprayed and the hull is in good condition. The boat comes complete with trailer with winch, steering mechanism and gear/ throttle levers and cables installed, plus large fuel tank. The boat does not have the original Perspex windscreen but the frame is there, so a replacement can easily be made from flat sheet. The boat will need seats and trim, plus a 25-40 outboard engine. A simple project for someone that has the time and funds available. Based in West Molesey Surrey KT8.
