Hi. Thanks for looking at my listing. 1994 Prostar 205. The boat is in good condition for its age and has had a lot of work carried out. I bought it as a non runner from a friend. It had been laid up in storage for a few years. The boat has the corvette lt1 engine which runs on petrol. It did have an lpg kit fitted which has been removed, however the filler hole is still there, the manifold holes for the injectors have been plugged so putting it back on gas would be easy, however I’m currently using the boat on a large lake and it uses less than £15 per hour. The engine benefits from the following new parts, carter fuel pump, bilge pump and switch, 4x coil packs, IAC valve, oil and filter, spark plugs, gear oil and transmission cooler. I’m sure there are other bits I’ve forgotten. The boat has done around 490 hours but will be in daily use until mid August. The interior is all original. I would say it’s in good condition for its age. The passenger seat base seam has split while we’ve been on holiday. There are a few small Knicks to other areas. There is also some fading to the colours on the dog box and a mould stain on the rear seat. Just trying to be as honest as possible, probably makes it sound worse than it actually is. The carpet is in fair condition, would benefit from a shampoo but again it’s not filthy but has marks consummate with age and use. All the gauges bar the fuel gauge work as they should.I suspect the sender in the replacement tank isn’t compatible with the gauge. The hull is in good condition with no visible stress cracks, there.are however some scratches. The boat sits on a UK legal mastercraft trailer. I’ve just replaced the tyres, brake cables, hitch ram ,shoes and bearings as we tow the boat 2000 miles for our holiday. The Mudguards are the original fibre glass ones and have sustained some damage, these should be repaired when I get home but not currently. The bunks could do with new carpet but hopefully this will be done when I return. I’m sure there are things I’ve missed, I’ll update accordingly. Should be back in the UK mid August, the boat is currently in France if that’s easier for anyone. A water test is available in East Yorkshire. The boat is being sold with no known faults other than those disclosed in the advert. Please remember the boat is 26 years old. No warranty offered or implied. Payment in cash or transfer upon collection.
