Picton Mardigras 210 Cruiser Excellent Condition. BMW 3 litre B220 marine inboard engine. BMW Mk2 Stern-drive (Both engine and stern-drive fully serviced June 2010) We have owned 'Brianna' for four years and used our much loved boat to cruise the beautiful Lancaster Canal, moored at the picturesque Ow'd Tythebarn, Garstang. She has been perfectly suited to this use and at canal speeds she is only doing 800-1000 RPM and is just ticking over, hardly using any fuel and is extremely reliable and economical to run. She was designed as a very capable off-shore cruiser with exhilarating, smooth performance to match (220HP) but is equally at home with this sedate and ultimately relaxing use . Picton boats produced some of the best sports hull designs giving superb, safe and confidence inspiring handling. There is full factory fitted BMW instrumentation including engine hours log which shows that she has had an easy life covering approx 45 hours each year from new. The legendary German BMW engineering reliability is superb. Manuals are included Her design is striking and has attracted many admiring and complementary comments. Many people have said she is one of the best looking boats on the canal! The open cockpit is an excellent size and can comfortably accommodate eight people. For overnight, the luxuriously trimmed cabin can sleep three with room for two more on the sunbathing area which is a another double. There is room for a chemical toilet under seating. There is no galley. The condition all round is excellent and she has just had new hull anti-fouling carried out as well as the full mechanical servicing mentioned earlier. The sale also includes a four wheel galvanized trailer. Unfortunately we have to give up boating for health reasons. We would consider taking a caravan (Preferably German or similar) in part exchange.
