Auction for my 14ft Picton speedboat. Where to start. I will start with the negatives: – The boat has had a top layer of paint in in toplac fire red. It was also undercoated using the similar make red undercoat – this does need touching up in places. – The boat has 2 small tiny holes in the hull but they have been filled with silicone. I have been using the boast and only noticed these a month ago. I kept on using it because it never let in water so I never bothered to repair them. I have listed this in the picture. The other 1 is directly opposite. Perhaps it was caught on something in the past. Regardless, does not let in water. The hole is nowhere near the size of the silicone. It is the size of a 1 pence piece, if that. Someone decided to go silicone crazy on it. – Has a crack in the screen on the right hand side. This can easily be replaced with any kind of UV perspex. – Looks like the back end has been fixed in the past. Fixed well and painted over. The positives: – Boat has brand new speakers in(gotta have music) – Has a sony clip off stereo – Comes with trailer. I don’t know much about trailers but the tyres seem ok and it tows ok. 1 mud guard missing – Petrol tank fitted with a petrol cap on the boat. It is quite a big tank. – Has 2 fold down seats at the front. – Fairly new carpet – Comes with teleflex steering – Comes with throttle controls – Has a tiny bilge pump(never used it but there is a switch for it at the front) – Rear back bench seat – comes with a home made cover(not sure if that is a positive) This boat is what it is. Its old and has been used but it is ready to go. Just drop on an engine and you are good to go. If not, spend some time and fix it up/ make it look good. The reason for sale is my girlfriend. She wants it gone to make room for our car, so I have to sell. If I could sell her instead I would but then I would probably not survive on crisps and microwave food. The picture where I show the back seats I am lifting the boat cover and pulling the seats forward, they are removable. They are not fixed. I used to put my battery and bilge behind there. All the cables are still there I think. Collection only. Please don’t ask me to send it in the post. Viewing is very much welcomed and so are any messages. Thanks for looking
