Here is my 15 foot Broom speedboat with a Suzuki 75 outboard. I have owned her for two years and enjoyed some great days on the water but have now decided to buy a motorbike so she has to go to raise the cash! She is believed to be a 1990’s boat although the outboard is a lot newer by the looks of it. The owner before me had the engine completely stripped and serviced in 2015. As you will see by the photo with the cover off it’s in excellent condition. Starts on the button every time, and is very fast – 40mph! I’ve only used it for about 10 hours since this service. The engine can be seen in full working order on my driveway. Included in the sale is a trailer in decent condition. I fitted a new jockey wheel and winch last year. Unfortunately I can’t find the handle for the winch but these are available for about £15. There is a boat cover included as well as two sets of waterskis – one set in good condition, the other not so good. Other bits and bobs are included e.g a rope ladder, toolkit and oar. I’m no expert on boats so please consider this when asking me questions. I carried out some research before buying this boat and learnt that Broom are a well respected boat builder. She certainly is a very sturdy boat even when travelling at speed. Cash or cleared funds on collection please. Grab some summer fun!On 25-Jun-19 at 09:19:42 BST, seller added the following information: I’ve been asked to provide more about the condition of the boat. I would say the upholstery is in the condition you would expect on a boat of this age, There are some stains and the odd nick, but no major tears. Stitching appears fine. The seats are very usable, and I never considered them needing re-upholstering whilst Ive had the boat, but it depends how important appearance is to you. The questioner thinks its more likely an 80’s boat rather than 90’s. This may be right although a guy who’s into boats told me he thought it was 90’s. I’ve described the overall condition as good for her age. I think this is a fair description but please bear in mind she could be 30 plus years old! The photos show the condition e.g scuff marks etc. If you need a more accurate assessment of the condition I suggest you come and look at the boat and see for yourself. You are very welcome. Also included is a spray hood (which looks a bit dirty, but usable) and an anchor. I’ve only used it in freshwater but I have no idea about the history of the boat.
